My Cannondale SuperSix carbon frame had developed some cracks on the seat tube after a small spill, so I took it to River City for assessment. The mechanics referred me to Shawn and Graham at Ruckus Composites, whom they gave a rousing endorsement for their work with carbon repair. Graham responded to my inquiry right away and detailed how they would go about their repair, estimating a 2 week turn-around time – Well, they had my bike completed within a week!! After stripping down the tube to assess the level of damage, they re-wrapped the carbon (reinforcing the damaged points), painted the frame, applied new Cannondale graphics, and cleaned and clear coated my bike. From an aesthetic point of view, their work is impeccable (you cannot tell I had ANY work done on my frame), and functionally, my ride feels as good or better than ever. Both Shawn and Graham are consummate professionals who are very knowledgeable and deliver meticulous service from start to finish. I I HIGHLY recommend their services if your carbon bike needs some rejuvenation. –Paul from Portland

I’m 45yrs old and I’m putting out 2100watts on a good day; and lately with the new training studio Tempo Cycles and Pilates I’m having plenty good days, lol. The bike has held up outstandingly and with the quality work that you guys do; I have no fear getting back out there after you’ve done your job! I’m usually skeptical about repairs but not with Ruckus!

I needed to figure out a new braking solution or the fatigue from the shudder on the descents would make the ride miserable. Shawn and Graham at Ruckus proposed what they would later name The Chatty Cathy Killer (CCK), a fork mounted, carbon cable hanger. I got the bike and fork back from Ruckus on time, and right away the design and build quality of the CCK were clear. I took the bike home, built it back up again, and took it out for a spin. I rode for a few blocks before coming up to a stop light, still mentally anticipating chatter, but instead I found utterly smooth and predictable braking. It’s hard to describe how shocking it was to find the bike braking perfectly beneath me, but it surprised me to the point that I laughed out loud at how good the bike felt. As a further testament to the build quality, I’ll admit that I’ve crashed the bike several times since Graham and Shawn put the modification on and the CCK has held up just fine even under high distress. The Chatty Cathy Killer has been by far the best equipment upgrade I’ve made all year, and if you find yourself experiencing serious chatter problems that’s limiting your riding, it’s in your best interest to get in touch with Ruckus Components.
