Replaceable Derailleur hangers can fail, but thankfully when they do the damage is much less catastrophic than if the hanger is entirely affixed to the frame. Normally what happens is the actual derailleur fails (shifting problems usually) and brings the hanger with it. Fortunately, we are here to help! Ruckus Composites is the only company in the known universe that has the knowledge and understanding of how to replace dropouts on carbon fiber bicycle frames The process requires delicate cutting and removal of the damaged dropout, top-secret proprietary installation of the new one and delicate alignment once installed. We plug in one of our custom designed CNC’d carbon dropouts, then use a Wheels Manufacturing 162 universal hanger for easy replacement if the hanger snaps again.
